Fans of all things grilled can find a city haven at Big Little Grill, a brighly lit and cosy venue just off Aotea Square. Founded by a group of fishing mates sharing the love of food and cooking, the eatery combines what's best of the East and West in a menu rich in a choice of meats and seafood. Chicken, lamb and beef all can be tasted alongside calamari, mussels and prawns, most available grilled in a signature basting sauce. Meals can be served with a soft drink or a wide selection of spirits, including Champagne, wines and beer. Mixed cocktails and mocktails, including classics like Cosmopolitan, Long Island Iced Tea and Mojito are also available.
