Masters of all things chicken, Boy & Bird serves up a modern selection of poultry-focused dishes. The restaurant boasts an impressive naked-brick wall adorned with some metal mesh and a line-light. The metal-covered lamps may remind the diners of chicken coops, but there is no question that the sleek and elegant wooden furniture belongs to an upstanding eatery. Rustic imagery is boosted with a naked-brick fireplace and a wall of fresh vegetables hidden in small, metal buckets. The kitchen serves up a menu full of chicken flavours, including Korean-spiced chicken thighs, rotisseried birds and buttermilk fried chicken in brioche rolls. For those looking for something less feathery, dishes like fish goujons and beef croquettes are available, as well as cauliflower fritters, charred courgettes and sticky root salad. All meals can be finished with a sweet treat like a lemon tart or apple doughnuts or accompanied by a rich selection of drinks on offer: homemade sodas, hot and cold classics, wines and colourful cocktails among others.
