The Experience

Thrill seekers can get on a motorbike to see the various faces of Rajasthan and explore some of the gems of the spice and silk routes with their forts, castles and temples. This nine-day tour starts with a stay in Delhi and leads through Mandawa, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Pushkar, Jaipur, Bharatpur and Agra before returning to the starting point. Daily breakfast and dinner are included.

The Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

  • Arrival in Delhi and transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay

Day 2: Delhi   * Take part in a city tour to see the attractions of New Delhi, such as the Humayun’s Tomb and the Qutub Minar, Rajpath, India Gate, Parliament House, and the President’s Residence, finishing off with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave before heading to Old Delhi which is home to the Red Fort and Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India  * Join a bike session in the afternoon for a briefing about the road safety, rules and regulations * Overnight stay in Delhi

Day 3: Delhi/ Mandawa (265km/ 5hrs)

  • Head to Mandawa
  • Check in to a hotel and enjoy a ride around the local area to explore its colourful palaces and streets 
  • Overnight stay in Mandawa 

Day 4: Mandawa/ Bikaner (190km/ 5hrs)

  • Proceed to Bikaner
  • Check in to a hotel and take a guided tour of the town - visit the Junagarh Fort and the National Camel Breeding Farm
  • Overnight stay in Bikaner

Day 5: Bikaner/ Khimsar/ Jodhpur (290km/ 7hrs)   * Start the bike journey towards Jodhpur, known as the Blue or Sun City, with a stopover in Khimsar boasting a unique fort with battle-scarred walls * Overnight stay in Jodhpur

Day 6: Jodhpur/ Pushkar (211 km/ 6hrs)

  • See the wonders of Jodhpur with a city tour; take a ride up to the Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India, dating back to 1459 and visit Jaswant Thada, known as the Taj Mahal of Jodhpur before heading to Umaid Bhawan Palace and Museum which displays a variety of the royal family’s personal belongings 
  • Then, hop on the motorbike to proceed to Pushkar, a city of religious significance, also known for its lake, temples, sand dunes, bazaar and ghats
  • Check in to the hotel, unwind and take a stroll around the local bazaars overflowing with tie and dye fabrics, precious stones, paintings, and handicrafts
  • Overnight stay in Pushkar

Day 7: Pushkar/ Jaipur (130 km/ 4hrs)

  • Hit the road to the Pink City of Rajasthan, Jaipur, one of India’s most important heritage cities, which is dotted with intricate palaces, heritage museums, and colourful bazaars
  • Check in to a hotel and take a city tour of Jaipur in the afternoon 
  • Overnight stay in Jaipur

Day 8: Jaipur/ Bharatpur (165 km/ 4hrs)

  • Early in the morning, set off to see the famous Amer Fort and take a ride on an elephant’s back to get uphill to the main entrance
  • Then, take a ride to Bharatpur to see its sanctuary and visit the local park on a rickshaw
  • Overnight stay in Bharatpur 

Day 9: Bharatpur/ Agra (60km/ 2hrs)

  • Head to Agra and stop en route to visit Fatehpur Sikri, a well preserved red sandstone town built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed
  • In the afternoon, see one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal
  • Overnight stay at Agra

Day 10: Agra/ Delhi (220 km/ 4hrs)

  • Start sightseeing from a visit to Agra Fort which is home to Jodha Palace, Shish Mahal, Nagina Masjid, Moti Masjid, Diwan-i-Am, Diwan-i-Khas, and Muhamman Burj 
  • Then, take the final ride of the tour to Delhi to handover the bikes to a tour operator and then get transferred to a hotel to get refreshed and changed
  • Farewell dinner at the hotel and transfer to the airport to board a flight for an onward destination; the tour ends
